I know, I know. This really isn’t a traditional Caesar Salad. It’s a much milder version, and lower in fat (ham instead of bacon).
2 baby cos lettuce, cut into small wedges
3 hardboiled eggs, quartered
250g ham, sliced finely
30g tasty cheese, finely sliced
2 slices of gluten free bread
1 tbs maple syrup
Nan’s Salad Dressing
Place lettuce, eggs, ham and cheese into a bowl. Toast bread, and while the bread is still warm, drizzle with maple syrup. Cube and toss on top of salad. Dress salad as required.
